Think (clearly) for yourself
As Coronavirus threw us a curveball and turned our economies and ways of life upside down, there’s an urgent need for us to think well and clearly.
Teens, youth and young adults preparing to enter the labor market must rethink their plans and paths, as companies rethink business models and employment paradigms.
They need to recalibrate their compass for a world that is rapidly shifting to the unplanned and unsettled future of work.
And, yet—
Thinking is a tiring process; it is much easier to accept beliefs passively than to think them out, rigorously questioning their grounds by asking what are the consequences that follow from them.
~Susan Stebbing, Thinking to Some Purpose (1939)
An effective way to start thinking clearly is to map out your unique personal strengths and strongest skills, and to find out how they relate to possible future paths.
